Matt O’Connor Wants His Team To Be At Its Best

Matt O’Connor, the head coach of Leicester Tigers will give it his best shot in every single game of the Heineken Cup in the next season. They have to fight their way so as to achieve victory in all stages.  The Tigers were placed in groups with Ulster, racing 92 and Scarlets in the draw that took place in Lausanne on Wednesday. The draw looks tough, but one cannot give up easily as the clubs participating in the competition are highly competitive and stronger. The team has to be at its best in all games held in the tournament as per the coach. You need to be good enough to stay on top in the competition. Tigers have always given best of performances in the past and hence no introduction is required for any of the clubs they would be facing.

Scarlets, Ulster and Tigers faced one another in the group stages in season 2014-15. It is going to be a 3rd season of action against players from Paris. The pool is indeed competitive, but pools are supposed to be tough in the tournament as there are top 20 teams from all over Europe taking part. Tigers know every little thing about racing as they played against them quite often in recent times.  As per Connor, the Scarlets were good in the Pro14 as well as in Europe in the last season and are looking forward to meet them all.

As per Connor, there is always good support from the team and he is hoping that there would be some best days for players and supporters again in the next season. The announcement of the fixtures will be done during the summers along with consultation with organizer and broadcast partners. Tiger players are all geared up as they go back to pre-season training on 25th June 2018.
